I have worked as a registered nurse beginning in 1978 in multiple in-patient settings including OB, In patient Psychiatry, and Emergency Medicine. As a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner beginning in 1990, I spent time in adult Women’s Health and in Diabetes Management as a Nurse Practitioner and Certified Diabetes Educator. As a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2007 my work has primarily been in Psychiatry both in the community setting and student health at Penn State University.
Treatment Approach: I treat individuals from adolescent through adult. My approach is patient centered and collaborative to achieve the highest level of health outcome incorporating healthy lifestyles, psychotherapy and medical/medication management.
