Treatment approach/ philosophy: I have been trained in the Duluth Model-Domestic Abuse Intervention Program and the Medlin Sex Offender Program. I believe that my experience in working with both offenders and victims has given me a unique perspective that is beneficial to the healing process of those who have been victimized. I have been affiliated with the Centre County Women’s Resource Center as a volunteer and I continue to research treatments to more effectively work with those harmed by violence.

My focus is on domestic violence and sexual assault/abuse victimization, PTSD, women’s issues, couples therapy, and trauma as well as other more general issues such as depression, anxiety, and medical issues.

I employ a holistic approach enabling the client to heal in their own time within a safe, understanding, and caring environment, I utilize an eclectic approach of Person-Centered, Reality, Cognitive Behavioral, Prolonged Exposure, and Feminist Theory in my practice.
