Clinical Specialties: Children, Adolescents, and Adults. I believe people are most reshaped by experiencing something new in order to break old, unhealthy patterns and perspectives. Being heard, supported, and challenged while feeling safe are very powerful change elements. Depression, anxiety, life adjustment issues, parenting, personal growth and relationship issues, trauma, grief/loss especially related to suicide.

Treatment Approach/Philosophy: I help clients to become more self-aware, gain insight, recognize faulty beliefs, and replace them with truth in a non-judgmental atmosphere of empathy, acceptance, warmth, and positive regard. I use an eclectic approach that is Person-centered and incorporates Acceptance, CBT, Mindfulness, Reality, and sand-tray counseling.
