Practicing Since: 1991
Treatment Approach/Philosophy: I tend to look at clinical issues through a trauma sensitive lens in an effort to increase client self-awareness and promote inner resiliency. Developing a strong therapeutic alliance where clients feel safe to express thoughts and feelings with candor is essential in my practice. I believe past impacts present and that my clients have the strength and resources to be active problem solvers. I use a blend of cognitive behavioral, insight oriented and solution focused approaches depending on the presenting problem.
